quick emissions removal question...
 

Sorry I didn't search but what all should I be left with after the removal of as much as possible?

Think of it this way. When you remove all thats unnecessary, your left with an throttle body, injectors and a sealed up intake all the way to the rotors. Thats if you go extreme, wich is pretty damn unnecessary.

What you want to remove is the air control valve, the egr valve (if you have one), and all those little hoses and wire vac rack thats underneath the intake. Most of that is for emissions purposes.

What I did, and I didn't know what the hell I was doing when I did it, was remove the whole intake system. When I read the article, I started to grasp exactly what was needed and what was not. If I didn't know what a device did, then I posted a picture of it and asked.
