Ecu
Check out the tech section on RotaryResurrection.com for a complete list of what ECU was in each model.
The 88 N/A used #N327-18-880 The convertible used #N333-18-880 There must be some differences. |
Are there any Aftermarket ECU`s that are more reliable than the stock one from the factory?
|
[to Outcold} ^how do you figure stock reliability is a problem? That's one of the crazier things I've ever heard; I dunno that I have EVER witnessed an instance of a stock ECU failing for stock applications.

Mine keeps blowing fuses :( plus wouldnt i need a new ecu if im tuning it?
|
The blown fuses are more than likely a sign of a short somewhere else in your car's wiring. I'd get to searching.
You could get an Rtek chip for your ecu which would allow you to tune it. There are also various "tuned ecu's" from japanese tuners such as knightsports and RE amemiya that pop on on ebay. I've always been rather leary of these myself since they don't seem to list what changes were made, or what exatly they were tuned for. |
