Quick easy question
 

I had to replace 2 studs. One on the back of my turbo that is used to bolt on the DP and the other from the turbo to the mani. It seems they loosen easy i was wondering if i had to use any kind of adhesive for the studs so that they stay on? Thanks.

I'm pretty damn sure the exhaust would melt them right off anyway, in all of them that I've replaced i've never had to use any type of adhesive/lock for them.

Ok cool. The reason im asking is cuz while i was taking my manifold off the turbo one of the studs i had replaced screwed off while i was taking off the nut. I was afraid of this hapening while the turbo was actually on the car. So i guess ill just tighten it some more with vise grips. Thks SOnic

use the double nut setup to remove studs or tighten them (don't over tighten)
