Quick brake question

I did somthing really dumb but its only cuz this is my first brake job ever.
I put that anti-squeel compound on the outside of the backing plate insted of the back of the brake pad. So now its all over the pistons.
Is this bad? Or does it not really matter?
Thanks.

Dont think it will cause any harm to the caliper. But I suggest to do some hard braking, so the brake pads get grip again...

just hose it off. it shouldnt matter

I am not sure if you could just hose it off. Brake quiet is an adhesive meant to keep the backing plate from moving around and squeaking.

Yeah its not on the friction side its on the backing plate, where the pistons touch.
