Question on upper strut mounting blocks
The stock upper strut mounting blocks (FB01-34-380) and Mazda Comp blocks (FBY1-34-380) which are 40% stiffer have bearings at the top of the block. I'm currently running the Mazda Comp blocks and am considering replacing them because of their age. The Mazda stock and Mazda Comp blocks are also the most expensive. Aftermarket, like Moog upper strut mounting blocks also have bearings at the top of the block. The KYB upper strut mounting blocks, which are also the cheapest (~$35), look like they do not have bearings at the top of the block (based on what I can see in web photos). Anybody that has used the KYB blocks, can you verify whether or not they have a bearing at the top of the block? Anybody that has used the KYB blocks, what is you opinion of them?
