question on guage hookup

the power is to goto the ignition switch and i already have something running from the 1g power on the ecu, so where is the ignition switch wire or where should i hook that up?

As I recall, you want the white/black wired directly under the steering column. There will be a two wire plug, with a black wire as well. Test with a voltmeter to be sure...

Also, did you say you tapped the stereo harness for an electric fan? Bad idea. Better find a direct connection to the battery and use a relay. The electric fan draws LOTS more current then that harness was designed for.

i got my case in my se. u can look at that if u want. or u can just get a tester and see what loses and gets power when you cut your car on and off

yea i just got it..i got the remote wire on the radio that i had the efan running to fromt he relay and ran that to a open spot on the fuse box and ill just run that water temp guage to that remote wire instead

actually i still need to look to see if i can run this guage off something else in the fusebox instead
