Question on DTSS Eliminator Bushings

Going to get a set of these, which company provides the best quality?

So far the companies i know of that carry them are:

Mazdatrix
Racing Beat
MMR Direct

Car is street driven daily. Are they all made of the same material? I'm willing to deal with a harsher ride if they do the job better.

mazdatrix just sells the racing beat ones. I actually ordered mine from Mazdatrix and they were an actual Racing Beat product.

The bushings are made of delrin. I have them on my 88 GTU. You won't get a stiffer ride. I noticed nothing but improvements in terms of handling on my 151k mile car. The car understeers a lot less, and the rear bump steer I used to get pretty much went away.

ok cool. These ones i am looking at are delrin also, so i guess they are all made of the same material.

I guess i'll order the racingbeat ones.

you cant really go wrong with any product made by RB, i have their header and presilencer on my FC and i love em.

I installed them about a year ago and love it. The car is more predictable on the track.

do the eliminator bushings just slide into the hole for the DTSS bushing or is it something that has to be pressed in? I am about to replace mine and wonder how the installation goes on it.

Thank you

i used a socket slightly smaller than the bushing and a hammer and tapped them in.

um............sure are those REALLY necessary? especially for a daily driver.

well i dunno if you've ever had the steering snap back on you? It's pretty rough.

Stainless Steel makes me think they would be heavy, also delrin is pretty stiff. Can't justify the extra $30.

yeah I would say the hardened plastic with a steel sleeve for an area you will NEVER see would be fine.
