Question about T fitting into the stock oil pressure sendor location?

I am looking to add an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. I want to maintain the stock one as well. I have bought some T fittings and adapters to split from the stock location. Is this going to produce accurate results? Is there any issues with the T pushing the sendors further from the block?

Thanks in advance

i know this might be a buzz kill, but you can buy the racing beat adaptor and maintain your stock gauge as well a aftermarket with out t- fitting anything

My investment is $7 canadian at the moment. I think RB wants $60US.
It was more a time thing anyway since I will have alot of parts of the car tomorrow and I don't have time to wait for mail order. I would like to do it while I have the room to work.
