Quality Radiators

Do any of you recommend a brass radiator? I think my 90gxl came with aluminum and plastic top but I don't feel like spending a grip for fluidyne, griffin, OEM. A used one(from TII?) from a wreckyard would be nice if only it will last. For now, I prolly go with a all brass Modine for $200 unless you guys suggest otherwise.

I've got an all brass one I yanked from my car when I put in the fluidyne, want it? $100 plus shipping and it's yours

How much difference does the fluidyne make versus the stock radiator. I put in a new one(stock) last summer and it really didn't do shit.

I personally don't really like the brass ones. From what I have noticed they don't seem to cool down as fast after driving hard as the stock one.For everyday driving they are probably fine but for hard driving the all aluminum would be best and the stock one.The stock ones aren't the greatest but I think they do better than the brass replacements.

I bought a new one for my 85 GSL-SE on ebay. There is a company that sells them for $105 ~ $125 start price for all gens. I bought mine for $105 but was a little skeptical. Turned out to be a brass CSF, good quality and cools extremely well. Heck of a deal for $105 (included shipping) even if it only lasts for another 3-4 years.

Thanks if it doesn't weight too much, I give it a try since CSF is listed for $149 at radiator.com. I hope the cooling is just as good if not better than stock, though somewhere mention that aluminum radiator usually cools better than brass.
