pulling code on a S5
 

If you dont have any codes at the moment, and you try to check them, what will the check engine light show?

Any codes stored since the last time the battery or ECU was reconnected.

Mine just keeps blinking, is it showing a code? i triedd to count and it just kept going

The whole code sequence business is described in the "fuel & emmissions" section of the FSM.

yes. it will repeat the code over and over.

or if you have more then one. it will list them in number order. then start again and again.
