pulled some codes. now what?

so my s5 bitch decided to shit on my parade today.. been saving for some different coilovers, and some tires for my crown vics :/

anyways, i got to work and used a piece of stereo wire that i stashed away to pull the codes(you should always cary some stereo wire with you:rolleyes: )

and i pulled the codes 12(tps full range) 51(fuel pump resistor relay) and 15(o2 sensor)

i searched for the 51 code info and i have no o2 sensor, and can't find shit on the 12 code.

but now i don't understand what i am supposed to do??? check all the connections on the tps(which is probably trash anyways)?

the car doesn't hesitate under load, nor does it bog out.. what the hell is this shit?

12, adjust the TPS, it'll throw the code if its out of adjustment too far, or just plain bad

51; the S5 has a two speed fuel pump, at low load, it has a relay that puts the fuel pump power thru a resistor, so the pump sees like 9v. this will only trigger for an open or short, so check/clean the connections. this one also is a limp home code on the turbo, and likely NA.

15; if you have no O2 sensor, it SHOULD throw this code....

so adjust the TPS, check the fuel pump relay connector, and reset the ecu and see if it comes back

Same problem

Im aware of all the terms being used but not the acutaly way to adjust the TPS and the correct way to reset the ECU besides disconnecting the battery leads.

Anyone havea how to on resetting the ecu and adjusting the TPS without error?

Resetting the ecu is not the answer to your problems, nor is TPS adjustment

Well your right on resetting the ecu... not the problem

Created my own problems on the TPS, by adjusting it to low and having my
fuel cut defender run my plugs like crazy.... Good advice for me. DO NOT ADJUST! unless mentally challanged as am i!

Turn it up... depending on ohms read my fc and bc defender is on 24/7 might need to do that. now

Thnaks...
