Pulled check engine light codes
Everyone some help will be greatly appreciated. I was driving the other day and went to pull out onto the road and i put the pedal down like i usually do to pull out in front of people, 3/4 throttle or so. As I got to about 4k rpm the check engine light came on and the car bogged down and wouldn't accelerate with more than 1/4-1/2 throttle and I didn't try to rev it above 3k rpm after that. I brought it home and checked the codes. I believe I got 26 and 27 but never pulled codes before so I took a video for everyone to look at and tell me if I am right. I believe 26 and 27 are OMP codes, therefore it went into limp mode so I wouldn't destroy anything. Am I correct in presumptions?

Yeah, that's the idea behind limp mode. Get a new OMP or an Rtek 2.0 and premix.

just get a good, used but still working omp. And replace it the code should go away then.

The factory service manual has extensive procedures for troubleshooting the MOP [see section on Lubrication System]. Work through that before replacing the pump. Could be a something like a simple electrical connection problem, like shorted wire, faulty connector, etc. In which case replacing the pump would not correct the problem.

I will run through the troubleshoot first of course before I replace the OMP which like you said may not be the problem.

I have replaced the omp with a used one from apex auto parts. Everything seems to be running good now. Lights went away and all seems well.
