You sure had a nice clean work bench when rebuilding your motor, but i can't say the same about the inside of your car.. LOL.. ;)
BTW there is no need to run hot air on max to help cool the engine if that's what you are doing. An engine doesn't develop that much heat under idle anyways... When under hard load for extended periods of time is when you want to run your hot air on max.. |
Congrats, hey? Glad those seals worked out for you. Quite a bit easier to work with, eh?
If you want to get a little load onto your engine, chalk the front wheels, jack up the rear of the car, set it on jack stands, take off the wheels, and then put it in first gear, and step on the gas a bit with your right while you step on the brakes with your left foot... basically gives you an drivetrain brake to induce some load. do that for a half an hour and you compression should increase significantly. You also don't need to baby the hell out the engine either, all that does is builds carbon. 3/4 throttle and 4500 rpm is fine for limitations for 100 miles, oil changes at 500 and 100 miles, and then consider it broken in. |

HAHAHA i got caughtm it just felt wrong letting it idle for 30 mins without doing that lol, with the vent on it waz at 170-175 and without it, it was 180.. yes i know my interior is a MESS, main reason is to keep the garage from a mess so i dident have to hear my mom bitch lol |
My interior looks about the same right now... Anything that wasnt leaking oil or too greasy went into the back hatch or passengers seat... Gotta keep the shop clean!

oh man.......everytime i see that cut radiator support i cringe.....better hope you as good with a welder as you are with mix and matching body panels. :D
