Problem with a T2 fc

hi there okay im about to buy an FC thats he says it runs excellent and everything is in excellent shape...the only problem with the car is that after awhile in running the car, when you stop and turn off the engine it wont start but it will crank and the starter still starts but the engine wont turn on until a couple of hours later when the engine cools down then the car runs well again???whats the problem with this???it a good steal and a very good deal...im thinking a lot now! thanks...ko

Injectors leaking by and flooding the engine possibly.

are you letting it get warmed up to normal temperature before turning it off?

That's what mine used to do. If I don't let mine warm up when I run short errands it would probably still happen. I bought a turbo timer and sometimes let it keep running for 5 minutes after I make a quick trip.

It's called hot-start. Get used to it!

low compression

Detonation maybe? Cant restart car after running hot sounds like a possibilty.

no its not detonation!!
the car is flooding!
the biggest posibilitys are : leaky fuel injectors( get them cleaned), or low compression( will need rebuild soon).

get the car compression tested if your unsure of the condition of the motor!

Compression test the engine first.
This will eliminate the obvious and expensive problem...
