Problem solved!
I found the cold start problem on my car! There's no pressure coming from the fuel pump! It's around 28 psi, and the factory manual says it should be around 80-90 something. Now to my question:
Should i spend the 340ish on an OEM fuel pump or should i upgrade to something better. since the car has no mods yet (and probably won't for a while), i'm leaning towards sticking with the OEM. but, if it will help in the long run i'm not opposed to going that extra mile. |
N/A or TII?

profile says 90gtu

90 GTU, yes. and i haven't done any swaps or anything, so still N/A

Before spending the money, make certain you checked it the correct way when it read 25PSI. Fuel going directly to the tester, and not flowing past the tester, with the switch on and the test connector jumped. If this is correct, it's a gonner. Get a used pump.

yeah, i plan on shopping around, but i was just wondering if i should go all out and get a kickin rad aftermarket pump or just another oem-type.

Just get a used one from someone here on the forums. This is assuming yours really is messed up.
Side note: New owner? Haven't seen many people from Clarksville (well, TN...) around on the forums. |
