Problem.
i warmed up my car, for a minute or two, it wasnt the first time i drove it taht day, i was hitting boost, 2-3 lbs and it was fine, i made a turn and all the sudden the car started bogging, i could hear the turbo spooling (atleas thats what the boost gauge was telling me), but it wouldnt accelerate fast enough to barely go into traffic. the the idle was dropping below 600 rpms, and the turbo seemed to be spooling a lot quicker.
does anyone know what could be wrong? i was thinking it could be something to do with the intercooler or the piping of the intercooler to the engine. but i dont see any visible leaks. |
so i did even more checks today, the intake system is good, the turbo is good, checked compression for the rotors, it was 85 on the front and 75 on the rear. i read in the chilton manual some of the most likely things for these problems of stalling, hesitation, and lack of power were bad MAF or electronic spark knock detector.
bump any ideas? |
85 and 75 kinda sucks for compression.
theres about a million things that can cause power loss. poor electrical connections, clogged fuel injectors/hoses, dying fuel pump, clogged exhaust... check your TPS. check for vacuum leaks. |
