Price of A TII Hood?????
 

Well last night i got in to a little Fight with a truck and got my ASSS Kicked. So i need a Hood And a fender I was wonder if any body had a TII hood and what the price would be.

i seen them go for 250.00 loook around and you might find them cheaper.

Two points when buying this hood.
Make sure you specify aluminum unless you want steel. How do you tell? Weight for one but easier than that is that the hood latch is riveted on the aluminum hood. Not so on the steel one. Further, if you did not have an aluminum hood to begin with, get the hood hinges as well. They should be aluminum also.
Try to get one local. I had a steel hood shipped (I wanted aluminum) and even with steel, the shipper bent all 4 corners, one was even curled in, the scoop was cracked, it had major dents all around. That hood was hurting!! It didn't start out that way as I saw a picture of it first. Also make sure the shipper/seller insures it for what you paid for it and is willing to file the claim for you as the transportation company will not let you file the claim; it has to be the seller/shipper, at least with UPS and most major shipping companies.
Most junk, err salvage, yards will not ship large parts. Boxing and damage are things they don't want to get involved with.

you could try getting one from www.mazdarecycling.com they are in California if I remember right.

In oregon, you should call to see if its alum.or steel, a magnet will work too :D
