Preasure plate installed with air ratchet?

Uh, so when I installed my preasure plate, i used my air ratchet and just put them in there and went until it wouldn't tighten them. The air ratchet torque is only 20-45 ft. lbs.

What will happen if the preasure plate is torqued a little bit too much? like 10 or 15 more ft. lbs.?

Thanks! O, and i have been looking through the FSM for the torque specs for the bolts that bolt the tranny to the engine? Anyone know what it is?

Any tips for getting to that top left bolt while everything is attatched to the car? I didn't pull motor and tranny out for this... but next time I think I am going to...

Thanks again guys! yay for the RX!!!

The extra ft-lb's on the pressure plate is not bad as long as you didn't stretch the bolts too much and they are evenly torqued. I got to the top bolt from the top, in the engine bay with a closed end wrench. As far as the torque on the bell housing bolts it's around 65-70 ft'lb's. Good luck, stephen.

On the pressure plate, it is also important to tighten it evenly by alternately turning the bolts in a little at a time.
