powere window goes up slow and stops halfway
 

First of all, my battery is fully charged.

My drivers window goes up VERY slowly, sometimes it stops halfway sometimes it goes up all the way verrrry slowly, sometimes I need to help it go up.

On most cars it would be the window regulator, but based on the search that I did it's the switch ??

How do I clean/fix this ?

The window switches pass all the current through them, and goes straight to the window. Very poor design on Mazda's part. Pick up 4 automotive 5 pin relays and wire them in. Cheap, easy fix. It'll take about 2 hours.

AGreen's link is an excellent approach. I got the parts but haven't had time to do it yet. I did get some improvement by extracting the switches from the door panel, VERY carefully disassemble them, and clean the switch contacts with electrical contact cleaner. Try that first, you may find it to be a satisfactory, and cheap, solution.

oh great, assuming 2 relays per dooor?

Is there any quick temporary solutions like lithium grease? I need to pass out of province inspection so I can drive it cause I have no car to drive at the moment and need one baad. I will do this when I have more time.

I don't know about lithium grease. Just getting them clean should make a huge diff. I've considered dielectric grease, but I don't know about using it on moving contacts; check first.

Yes, you can pull the motor and all out. Clean everything and grease with white lithium. This should help!!

ok so contact cleaner did nothing at all, guess I will have to wire in the relays

Wire the driver's side in the driver's door, and the passenger's side in the passenger's door. You could technically wire them all in the drivers' door, but the issue with that is that the power for the passenger's side window motor will still have to go through the passenger's window switch. That would defeat the purpose then.

What mechanic is telling you that you need operational windows to pass a safety?

it's required for the alberta (Canada) out of province inspection unfortunately lol so is a bunch of other stupid shit like daytime running lights.

if the motor is working, but working slowly then switch is often OK
but is often the adjustment of the glass pushing against the inner window seal
try pushing/pulling on the rubber edge as the motor gets tight

also grease the track. had this problem in my luce. something so simple as greasing the 25 year old tracks fixed it
