Power window, roll down without power?

Can I roll down the window on a power windows without putting power to the motor? The door is out of the car, and I need to remove the glass. My battery is dead, so it won't work to hook the wires up to it. I can charge the battery, but am looking for a quick way to manually roll the windows down right now.
Any ideas? I didn't see anything in the FSM.

Put power to the plug on the power window motor. One way will make the window up, switch the wires and the window will go down. Thats the only way im aware of. I used to have to do that a lot when my window switch was broken.

Thanks. I had a feeling that's what I'd have to do. Was hoping to avoid it.

what voltage did you have to apply? 12v i'd assume unless there's a regulator before it

Take the plug for the courtesy light on the door panel and plug it into the regulator motor :)

Or, use a cordless drill battery.
