Post Rebuild: Flush coolant system?

Do I need to flush the coolant system?

The radiator was drained... the engine... obviously lol.

So I don't see any reason to flush it, how do I fill it? Just make a mix of coolant, put it in the fill neck until it's full, and I'm good to go?

Just fill it up with the right mixture of water & coolant. It's pretty much been flushed.

One thing to be aware of: As the engine runs, it will work air bubbles out. So if the coolant buzzer goes off, add coolant. You'll also want to bleed air out with the bleed screw on the top of the radiator.

However, be alert for leaks. After my rebuild, I discovered I was indeed leaking some coolant from the heater hose below the oil filter (hadn't clamped it down enough), and then the fill cap started leaking (replaced it, and it stopped).
