Possible ways to open 5th and 6th ports?

Hello all. My cat has been gutted, and the little pipe coming off it to opent he ports has been welded shut.

My question is to review all my possible options. So far from all my searching I have found,

1. put a real cat back in and fix the pipe. (but I have high flow mufflers so im not sure if it will open late then.

2. Wire them open. (that would make me quite sad)

3. Do a little air pump trick, where I connect a little hose to the air pump and little valves to regulate. Not very accurate.

4. Get an RPM switch and some sort of electric pump to open the ports at the perfect rpm.
Types of pumps I have founs so far :
1. air horn pump
2. ? corvet eletric smog pump?
3. some sort of walmart pump?
4. any more ideas?

5. Do you guys know any other options?

Thanks very very much. Have a good day.

In your case, the best solution would be to use an RPM switch and a pump. I have heard of people using the pumps from lumbar supports in cars - the ones that inflate air bladders in the seat back. Not sure which cars have these, but you see them for sale periodically on here. Or you could go and ask at a junk yard.

If you are interested in being unique, there is my vacuum operated ports. This is especially good if you have emissions removed. So far, I'm the only one who has attempted it, with good success. Others are skeptical of such a system, but it works on the same premise that a vacuum tank on a turbo car does. While in vacuum, the tank is at them same vacuum as the engine, when WOT, a check valve holds the vacuum until it is needed. The only problem would be it has the potential to be susceptible to vacuum leaks, however, I've had no problems with it. Here is a link for the curious: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/vacuum-6-ports-517463/

Yep, that would be #`1

not really an option for anyone that wants decent low end power.

that is only one way of the three ways to hook it up. Other options would include a stock air pump, RPM switch and vac solenoid, or the air pump and ACV valve bypass output.

the corvette air pump would be the only one there to really consider unless this is just a drag car driven only on weekends and even then on a limited basis.

An Air horn pump and a lumbar pump are both very limted use items and not designed for long term use as a pump that is constantly on.
