Porting - Engine is ported into the oil control ring area?

So I picked up a TII shortblock for cheap, getting to taking it apart but I can't fully dissasemble it until my flywheel gets in so I can take that damn e-bolt off.

Anyway, it's down to the keg and while looking into the engine I noticed the secondary ports seem to be ported. Upon rotating the engine, it looks like the outer oil control rings become almost fully visible as the rotor passes the port.

Is this something that is normal and acceptable or should I start looking for new irons?

Even with stock ports the outer ring becomes exposed as it passes over the intake port.

Thank you sir, just wanted to be sure.

The ring seals on the inside edge. If you take the engine apart you will see the shiny spot along the very inside edge of the rig. The sides of the oil control ring are not parallel to each other or the side plate and therefore have only an edge contact.
