Ported TII engine.. need fuel upgrades?

I will be doing a NA to TII swap soon. The engine im getting is an s4 rebuilt and ported engine from Kevin. Since its ported and my NA exhuast system will not bolt up I will be getting full racing beat exhuast. With these mods I am pretty sure I'll need to upgrade my fuel right? So a walbro fuel pump, and what size fuel injectors? I want to run the engine on stock ECU if possible, and later on I want to get a stand alone.

My questions are:
1) Do I need to upgrade my fuel?
2) If so, what would need to be upgraded and to what?
3)Will the car run fine with these mods and fuel upgrades using the stock s4 TII ECU?
4)Does full racing beat exhuast really add 59HP? if not then how much?

dont know much about the first three to give you advice but i would think you would need to upgrade the fuel so you dont ruin your new engine, the answer to number 4 is no it does not give you 59 hp, i believe it was 59% more air flow and 32 hp gain.

HP increase is approximately 32% (a 59HP increase) on a 1987 Turbo II .Boost increase is 4-6 psi. Fuel cut controller is required to prevent fuel shut-off to rear rotor due to the increase in boost pressure seen by the factory computer.

well you will need atleast the 550cc turbo injectors and turbo ECU. that with a walbro you would probably be ok as long as you keep it under 10 psi or so.

Yea ill have all the turbo stuff on it including the injectors... so I will be fine with all those mods if I have a walbro fuel pump right? I will probably be running stock boost until I do more mods to it like upgrading the injectors.

This swap will be done on an 87 sport which are a lot lighter than a TII. With those mods listed would I be seeing high 13s or low 14?

I doubt you will run 13's while in stock boost...Are you doing an intake too? TID mod? Are you getting a FCD? Then you should be able to get up to 10 psi's easy... Just how much lighter are the sports then a T2? 200lbs at the most? Good luck/skill with your project!

If you get the RB exhaust you should get a FCD as well as a fuel pump.

9psi will put you in the 13s.
