Plug the S5 Turbo Housing with Freeze plug and what sealant ?

i bought the freeze plugs already. and will order the S5 housing (Brand new, lots of brand new parts not just housing) maybe a week later.

Looking to buy some fluid and just remember that I will need some gasket/sealant, so I wonder if I should get Blue RTV or Red RTV ? Red is probably a better choice right ?

oh almost forgot, the Water passage is the only thing I need to plug right?

you actually shouldn't need any sealant

i prefer the mazda sealant, 8527-77-739, its grey

I didn't know Mazda has their own sealant.

hmm its 20 something bux ... is it really that good compare to say, the red RTV ?

and if I use Turbo housing, I dont need to buy any special gasket/o-rings right? cuz im using it for NA, and after like 20 minutes of research its the same except for that water passage/jacket only ?

If you seal the water passageways, you won't need o-rings or a custom gasket. The NA gasket will be fine. Turbo gaskets are open and require o-rings to prevent leaks, but you'll have the plugs in place instead.

ok good good.

Just wanted to be sure. I hate NA housings with that wing(diffuser) bs. Gonna buy Turbo housing, send it to Racing beat to port it and do some balancing (cuz Im using some special parts)
