Planning On Going BNR Stage III. Any Input?

I wanna hear stories, the good, the bad and the ugly about this turbo. The turbo that they'll be building upon is a stock S4 turbo. Installation should be a breeze right? For fuel I have a Walbro 255lph, 4 720cc/min injectors, an Aeromotive FPR running in parallel and an SAFC to control it all. For intercooler Ill either stick with teh stocker for now and upgrade later or just go ahead and bankrupt my way into a Greddy FMIC. Are there are OTHER recommended hyrbids out there or is this the best one for the 300-350rwhp range. Thanks.

Get the frount mount if it's at all possible.

yeah, do go FMIC... but why not go custom?

After buying the core, couplings, hose clamps and completing the piping I think it's a better deal to buy the greddy 2 row for 840.

Check out the updated post by Jason at the top of the forum.

nah, i was shooting for $400 with mine, but i'm a cheap ass:)

i'd also look into a to4e and manifold..

just shop around and find out what you think is best...

I've spent more than $400 for my intercooler setup so far and it's not done.

A standalone is going to help you a lot. I would recommend it.

Definitely get the front mount.

well your gonna need to port that wastegate HUGE for that turbo unless your running high boost all the time. s4 wastegates are tiny adn even with huge ported wastegates itll still probally creep.

MazdaRx7Racer4Life 06-28-04 08:17 AM

yeah, but I think they take care of that when you send the turbo in to be converted don't they?

Sir Rupert Hobo 06-28-04 08:27 AM

yeah, they do.
