Pineapple Engine Stand Bolt Question

Hey FC owners! I'm in the process of putting a S4 engine in my FB with a Microtech, FMIC, and some other goodies and I know I will have plenty of questions over the next month or so. Here is the first one and it may be rather silly...

I bought the Pinaapple Racing engine stand adapter. Last night, I go to mount it, and I realize that it did not come with the bolts needed to mount it to the engine :(.

What size bolts do I need? I need to mount into those three holes? I will have to purchase them and knowing WTF I am buying would be great!

Thanks!

Also, anyone in the Philly, NJ, NY area that wants to come help out, you are more than welcome...

Went to their website just to make sure...

The adapter mounts to the engine via the bolts threaded into the front stationary housing (where the A/C P/S bracket mounts). Re-use the washers, spring washers and nuts that you took off when (if) you removed the A/C P/S bracket. You still have the studs on?

Paulo,

When I bought the engine, it did not have the AC and PS bracket or studs. Thus my problem.

Was afraid you'd say that. Didn't see anything here, but it's a good thread (no pun intended)...

You may have to take the housing to the hardware store if you're in a real hurry. It's obviously metric, M10 or M12, ? thread pitch.

they are threaded the same as FC lug nuts...whatever size that is, that's what you need.

^ Info above with thread I posted makes it M12 x 1.5 x however long you need. Use washers to adjust length.

Alright, so I guess that I need some M12X1.5 bolts as I do not have the studs and will have to simply thread the bolts through the bracket and into the housing.

Thanks!
