pics request on the corksport exhaust
I would like to see pics I really wanted the reacing beat set up but wayyyy to expensive
|

I heard that the exhaust is uber load is that true b/c I dont wat anything thats going to deafen me lol
|
Yes it is very loud. I think perhaps the loudest.
|
does anyone have sound clips or vids
|
Look at the canister, it can't help be loud. Those types of cans are not designed to reduce volume. They're designed to be flamboyant.
|
Cs exhaust is a great product

Compared it to an old school HKS can, any school RB can, Borla cans, and other decent looking cans, its very flamboyant. All of the above are free flowing btw. They just do a better job at lowering the volume of the exhaust. |
I have a similar exhaust and its loud when your on the gas but when your cruisin its not that bad. I've even drivin infront of cops with it and havn't gottin pulled over yet. (knock on wood)

haha corksport exhaust is sooooo loud and it does get raspy if you have decent power and get on it
it gets really annoying after the first hour of installing it |
i have decent power and get on it all the time...dont sound raspy to me
|
well at 3000rpms mine hits a note that bugs the hell out of me
|
bleh...just keep saving and get an RB
|
I love how mine sounds at like 5.5k. Its not raspy or fartmatic, just a deeper rotary sound
|
If you're gonna be making serious power, save up enough money to get a RB system, but instead have a 3" single made with one dynomax bullet and a Borla XR-1. Quality sound, quiet, and tons of flow.

I love mine...what a commanding sound my car has, especially with the ports and the carb...but the exhaust helps :bigthumb: The Corksport has a very deep sound that just beats in your chest when ur standing behind it...love it.

If anyone is having noise issues, I HIGHLY recommend the Borla XR-1. I loooove it and it's the resonator I'm running on my car. Doesn't change the sound really that much, but it definitely makes it deeper and meaner.
Think 'Ferrari' :D |

How is that setup? 1/4 times? Honest streetable opinion? |
Well honestly, it WILL be very streetable..when its tuned. Right now the jetting is close, but still off, and its breaking in ( 350 miles) but I feel the car will be fairly streetable when its all said and done. Its not too bad, does buck a bit under very light throttle but thats expected with carb setup + big ports. I am hoping to get this car into the 13's on the motor...but honestly I have no clue what to expect. I will def. post when I get it broken in and run it at the track.

I run a corksport with a borla xr-1 oval 3 inch. Yes its very ferrari' sounding and deepens all those loud sounds you guys are complaing about. Sorry about the darkness of the photos I will get better ones tonight and post them on my site. And I don't know of anyone running over 400 rwhp and has a RB dual. I will how ever do a dyno session with my car next month and we have a RB dual catback to bolt up and finally get some real comparison numbers between both.....
