neptuneRX 03-02-04 07:34 PM

omg...

version13 03-02-04 11:46 PM

older VW's with the right tires can actually "float" across going certian speeds. Its more of a super-hydroplane. Pretty cool actually, driving across 6 ft. deep water...

bcool 03-02-04 11:50 PM

yeah but thats a VW no one cares if a hitlermobile goes down but when your bargaining on the life of an FC, well..god damnit

dreamnshadow 03-02-04 11:51 PM

ahahhahaha cmon guys, look at it closer, it looks fake, cool tho....

Rookie84 03-03-04 12:03 AM

YakATK 03-03-04 12:26 AM

That car is either jacked the fuk up, or its a fake.....I vote fake.

MaxDuo 03-03-04 12:27 AM

.................................

bcool 03-03-04 12:41 AM

Maybe if the poster of the pic could come back and prove us wrong or try to convince us otherwise*cough cough*

GundamExpo 03-03-04 12:42 AM

Hes probably hydroplaing across the puddle. If you think about it when your hydroplaning it dosent matter how deep the water is if there is water between your car tire and the road. None of you guys have ever seen snow mobiles raced on water have you?

snub disphenoid 03-03-04 02:02 AM

The cars that run across ponds don't run street tires. They have huge tires with enormous, paddle-boat style tread patterns. The cars that actually do this and this car are entirely different. I say that it either didn't make it, or it's a p-shop.

SonicRaT 03-03-04 02:08 AM

I vote fake based on that the shadows don't match, the reflections are off, and the lighting on the car doesn't match the enviroment.

snub disphenoid 03-03-04 02:24 AM

Upon slightly closer inspection, it's a p-shop. Not even that great.

vicious525E 03-03-04 06:32 AM

but its funny :)

Bio-Weapon 03-03-04 07:17 AM

Its not fake. Anyone who can photoshop pics can tell easily. Look at the way the light is hitting the drivers side water, and then the way its hitting the drivers side of the front bumper. Perfectly matched, and the water drops at the bottom of the bumper. Also note the reflection of that white pole, the way it sits, and the reflection of everything else. The same, not fake.

hondahater 03-03-04 07:24 AM

the guy inside looks like weird al...

robfeltner 03-03-04 07:44 AM

I did something like that once in an '88 non turbo, (not intentionally though), and it choked immediately. I did get restarted later, but what a mess.
