you entered that FC in a show? It's not bad for a stock car with mild mods ( pvc???) but i see nothing show worthy......My car is OK, and it still needs work but i would not enter it as it is now..........

it's too bland.......Show cars need to stand out a bit..........sorry if you think I'm hating but i don't think it's SHOW-worthy...........

THIS car is SHOW worthy:

or these:

i'm not trying to hate or talk shit but you need to make the box look better in the rear(get something that fits nicely and not like a chunck or wood and carpet), dye the rear seats, replace the missing idiot lights, and do some exterior work besides stickers before you enter it in other shows........sorry if I'm harsh but if you're going to do something do it right.

Madrx7racer 09-21-06 04:34 PM

Yeah true true....

But did you see the show he entered?? there's a f***ing GRAND AM in the back with some kind of aftermarket front bumper....and an integra that looks pretty much stock....and its in some kind of baseball diamond or public park.

Its not SEMA dude. No wonder he won.

Eddierotary - Props to the TII swap and work on the FC - only thing I don't like is the box. Not a big fan of the "thump"

It's ok, I kinda make him feel better about himself on those days when he knows he's nothing but a flaming pile of dog crap .......lol........

do not get me wrong............I am not bashing on his car mechanically AT ALL..........I just don't think it's show worthy as it is.....a car show is a carshow.....doesn't matter if it's on the lot of kmart or HIN ( ricefest :puke: )

No, thats where you're wrong. You can't compare a show like Scrape by Lake (a local summer car show for lowriders/imports etc.) that gives away 10's of thousands of dollars in prizes as well as having into the 10's of thousands in attendance with a local gathering of enthusiasts in a "show" setting handing out trophys for cleanest engine bay, etc.

The two are DRASTICALLY different, and if you can't see that difference then Im really not surprised why you think your's isn't show worthy.

Madrx7racer 09-21-06 04:56 PM

no...you're right.........it was a bad example....HIN cannot be compared to a street show.

ra ra rotory 09-21-06 06:05 PM

Whatever man, im retracting my statement, you should do the same.

You might not call it hating, but it is.

Madrx7racer 09-21-06 06:20 PM

how about you learn to take other's opinions and then agree to disagree......... JUST because it's a 7 does not make it better than a stock Honda...........if some guy posted a pic of his 92 civic with typeR integra motor, a badly fitted sub box and nothing else it would be the same thing.

I never said it wasn't nice......I just said it's not SHOW WORTHY............your reading comprehension skills, or lack thereof, is impressive......unbundle your panties now.

edit: the "shut your little mouth, bitch." remark really hurts my feelings and I hope you know how much you've hurt me. :hahaha: if you don't like me excercising my freedom of speech feel free to take a trip to good 'ol:

DOUBLE EDIT: I never said he needed to drop 20K into his car...........I told hiim what I saw wrong......I don't know where you got that from.

ra ra rotory 09-21-06 06:27 PM

.

Madrx7racer 09-21-06 06:40 PM

I say what I mean and I mean what I say...............I don't retract comments.....it's just my opinion...
he can be offended by them or

he can say: hmmmmmm I wonder how I can make the 7 into some EYE CANDY???? and slowly work towards a nice show car..........

his choice.......I already know which one YOU chose.

eddierotary 09-23-06 08:55 AM

i would tell you something madrx7racer

i didnt enter that show to show off or have the prettiest or because i think i have the prettiest car around, i like you show cars but my car is no show. and i didnt do this post to flame me about it. i thanks you for you dam opinions about it but gess what after 1 bad ass 350z, a bunch of lancers evos a show tractor trailer and tons of mini trucks, im the ONLY rx7 there and that make me proud to show it off. my car is pretty much stock and i know it so thanks for you stupid opinions of how my car looks. and BTW im been doing it with almost no money on my pocket
