God, I'm glad I live in California, I don't have to even think about rust, really.

I'm surprised by the quality of the piece, and I would get one to get through emissions, but then again I live in California, so O.E. catstack it is.

Now that I think about it, I'm going to have to get a completely new exhaust system fabricated if I want to do emissions...eek.

i'd probably get one if i didn't already have the RB header/presilencer.

How much wrenching did it take to get the bolts to break loose?

sudseh 01-26-05 11:20 AM

No major wrenching required. :)

The only things that gave me some trouble were the nuts on the studs up by the stock collector. I had to use two hands on them. :P

The swap did not take long at all...
I just need to get to a perfomance shop and get my car tuned. :)

Yah, one of my friends asked me about the "rust"... It's really not rust, just caked on road salt from the snowstorm we had recently. (This IS my daily driver)

umm..you need to get it tuned after putting a high flow cat? why? I was under the impression that N/A's didn't need tuning just by bolt on's.
