I could be wrong but isnt that pretty much the same basic setup that comes in the car? I would have got two 45 degree turns and try to straighten out the intake track more. Looks nice though.

Honestly? I think you could've gotten an exhaust shop to make that simple shape for you for alot cheaper. But, that one does look alot nice than exhaust piping would.

jm93rx7 04-15-06 06:14 PM

yeah. but i wanted something that looked decent

I don't know why people just don't buy the 25 dollar shipped prelude cold air intake that comes with everything you need to run your own tid and also have a cai through the washer bottle location.

Looks very good for 47 bucks.. Dammit how much cheaper are you guys looking for????

I will be doing a write up on my aftermarket TID and BOV with stock TMIC next week for TURBOII's. Minus the BOV your looking at about 100.00 worth of parts and thats alot cheaper than the HKS kit. Keep your eye out for it.:)

grrrrrrr....... dp

You have the opportunity to make any shape TID you want, and you make it out of two TIGHT, RESTRICTIVE bends?! Tight bends right at the turbo's intake are particulary bad for compressor efficiency. This is supposed to be a performance mod, but that doesn't look like much improvement on stock...
