just buy the FIPK kit, it'll come with the adapter and a braket to support the AFM and the filter of course.

Kouki FC doesn't need an adapter like a Zenki FC does.

There are literally dozens of pod filters in the K&N catalogue that would be suitable, so giving you one number is pointless. Go to their website, download the catalogue and pick one that suits your needs. You need one with a 2.5" neck (and no adaptor), but the rest of the dimensions are up to you. Be sure to measure to check it'll fit.

awesome guys, thanks...do any of you remember the old thread about Icemark saying that the cone must be of certain dimensions to equal the stock airbox's? i cant find the thread.
i dont wanna get a cone thats too small and not make it worth my while. |
Actually, for the Kouki AFM, you want at least a 3.0"I.D. cone filter. :)

it doesnt take a 3in i.d. i have a k&n filter on my s/5. i used a 2 7/16in i.d. trust me it took me awhile to get the right one. i will have to look around to find the part #. i got it from autozone for 44.99 plus shipping not a bad price. its there x-stream filter

I did exactly what NZ said and found one with a 2 15/16" opening - fits like a glove.
And Ted is right as usual no adapter for s5's needed |
