Paint turbo exh. manifold?

I havea aftermarket exhaust manifold. looks like HKS LOG but its all rusty. i was wondering if could use this paint?
http://www.designengineering.com/pro...p&pid=13&tid=1

or will it just crack? would it be a good idea to wrap the manifold instead?

i wrapped mine up with the black header wrap and it came out pretty good

depends how hard ya boost i think it would eventually crack and peel. Wrap will keep your underhood temps down too i'd go with that

First, thats not paint.

Second, no high temp paint will last very long on a manifold on these cars, regardless of how hard you push it or not. Just too much heat for something out of a rattle can.

Third, wrap will help keep the heat in the exhaust manifold where it belongs, and will aid in turbo effciency. Do it :)

yea ive been thinking bout ceramic coat. i already have my downpipe wrapped. i guess paint is out the question.
that black can says u can use it to paint manifolds, headers, etc.

I have my exhaust jet hot coated. The black 2000f coating looks great and works awesome! I want to eventually get the LIM, hot side of the turbo done as well.
