Pads for my powerslot rotors

Im still sort of a newbie and i know SHIT about breaks, but Ive got Powerslot brake rotors for my RX and I was wondering if theres any special kind of brake pads for the rotors. And about the 2-4 piston brake calipers I think I have 4 piston calipers in the front and 2 piston calipers in the back does that sound rite?

Im pretty sure as long as the rotors are stock size you dont need anything special. I think it really depends on what you want to do. If you want some very durable and cheap pads, just buy some stock pads. If you're looking for a pad with a little more initial "bite" maybe go for some nice endless or project mu pads. I feel brake pads are a personal preference, so deciding what is right for you is important. Of course the model of your car matters, but i think you were refering to more specifically the material used in pads. I know very little about specific material differences, so hopefully someone else can help you out.

My car iz a 87 n/a gxl with 5 lug not 4...so I dont need any metalic or semi-metalic pads or n e thing?

If you have a GXL with 5 lug you have 4 piston front calipers with SINGLE piston rear calipers.

Semi-metallics are good, such as axxis ones. That's what I used on my FC and was happy with them.

We use Hawk HPS with Powerslot rotors on our AE and like them just fine. Tried Hawk HP+ but they squealed like a stuck pig.

powerslots are tested to work best with PBR/Axxis pads.. so says the old PBR pad box..

So what if you sound like a school bus stopping....

The HP+ work so damn well!
