overporting

I went about one sixteenth of an inch on bottom right of port on s4 6p front housing. Getting to carried away. i assembled housing with rotor and e shaft and it feels like i have ok support. Is it ok to blend and polish or is it scrap.

do people not care about scratches on the side housings anymore? the past few porting threads I've seen alot of scratching on the face of the Iron due to porting mistakes yet people all seemed to say the ports looked nice :dunno: I got a bit carried away once before and put one scratch on my sidehousing and threw it away. Maybe it turns out it's ok to scratch the surface?

Just don't go toward the oil rings (inside) of the port. Here is a bastard port i copied off the net for shits & giggles....oooh and a copy of a 6 port streetport template so you get the idea of what you can do.
