Overhaul kits

Looking for recomendation for an overhaul kit from those that have used them. I'm rebuilding a 91 n/a with no mods. I see atkins and rotary aviation sell them, anyone else I should look at?

Also, why are the kits showing 2 piece apex seals but it came with 3 piece?

Thanks

I hear that Rotary aviation seals can damage rotor housings.

I think that the general conclusion is that Atkins seals are soft and fail quickly.

I think that the NRS one piece and two piece ceramic seals are very tough (high boost applications).

You can't go wrong with the stock Mazda seals (as long as you don't want a lot of boost).

This is covered in other posts, I searched for "apex seals".

the mazda seals are best for nearly every application short of full race, yet there are some race FD's that use mazda seals.

Atkins are less expansive than mazda yet their reliability is questionable. i have used atkins seals in my GSL-SE and they held up great but there are others who say otherwise.
