Opinions on this rotor ...

I was told this was in excellent condition .. I think its worthless. But maybe its just me ?

Theres maybe 3 or 4 small detonation marks on the compression sides of the rotor ... nothing major but still there (nowhere near the seal area).

Really though, not a clue.

MDD0101 07-17-08 09:47 PM

look great to me

K-Tune 07-17-08 09:49 PM

hard life, but still perfectly useable.

87 t-66 07-17-08 09:59 PM

looks fine.

GoodfellaFD3S 07-17-08 10:02 PM

I'd use that rotor in a high-powered FD build with no worries.

Btw, you're one hairy mofo.

BrettLinton7 07-17-08 10:59 PM

I dont see anything bad about it?
If you dont like it I'd love to have it though... :)

hurleysurf24 07-18-08 01:38 AM

I almost that that was your arm! lol

I do see that dent on pic 4. Did you measure everything out?

certifiednut 07-18-08 02:59 AM

that dent is not that bad, i would use it in a heartbeat

RETed 07-18-08 05:11 AM

Fuck that.
It shows obvious signs of detonation.
Detonation hard enough to fatigue the metal is always not a very good idea.
I'm surprised at some of the comments of the people who are okay with this rotor.

Excellent my ass.
I would be fucking furious at the bitch who told me it was "excellent".
I would demand my money back.

I have to agree with Reted, we would not use that rotor in any of our builds.

87 t-66 07-18-08 07:19 AM

oh damn, i didnt see the big dent in the 4th pic

yep. have you measured anything yet? i see the rotor bearing is tired too

Aiden671 07-18-08 12:40 PM

wow everyone seems to be concerned about your leg hair
then your rota
but it looks totally fine to me

maybe you should invest in a wax too
jk jk

The dent is for variable compression ratios on differnt sides of the rotor. I'm not a rotary pro, but I would not buy pistons with detonation signs on them either.

If you got cut in the leg and used some hydrogen peroxide, you would have died leg hairs. Then you mightas well do the rest of your legs

gxlbiscuit 07-18-08 06:40 PM

dude i didnt notice that dent either man send it back if he doesnt take it good guy bad guy him and a mail bomb (with those rotors attached) time. really im not criminally minded

Damn, I think his hairy leg distracted me from the dent :wallbash:

That's pretty damn bad. As stated by ted and chris, definitely not useable. Otherwise it looks ok though ;)

nunchuckgun 07-19-08 10:10 AM

id agree with everyone else

A. that rotor is not trustable
