The lsd out of the gtus (Viscous) or the standard lsd out of the n/a 7's?

Would a standard lsd go into a gtus pumkin so you can utilize the 4.3 gear ratio?

The standard lsd isn't a clutch is it? I thought that they were gear types.

Ya i heard that the viscous is bad because when fading back and forth viscous lsd cause the car to loose control because of the aggresive lock up characterisitics. What do you think?

You're confused.

The viscous doesn't lock up as aggressive, so it acts like a non-LSD rear especially at very low speeds.

No, "standard" is typically clutch-type.
"Gear-type" is typically Torsen.
Torsen is usually most expensive.

Skill makes the difference in drifting... I have seen good drifters drift crappy cars.

A real aftermarket LSD or a fresh rebuild...running junkyard or OEM units for anything competitive (road racing, drifting etc...) usually means running on very old, very tired equipment (especially for viscous LSD's). If you are serious about an LSD, bring a junkyard unit to a reputable tranny performance shop and have them rebuild it/beef it up or pop for an aftermarket piece like a Cusco or Kaaz. Either route = a fair amount of $ which most of us can put elsewhere in the car.
