One wire left!! PLEASE HELP!!!
I just got done with my motor swap and setup but I have a wire that I forgot to mark and I need help to find out where it goes. It is located on the drivers side near the starter in the engine bay. It looks like a black box with a metal tabb on the side with the screw hole in it. I hope someone knows what I am talking about. Please help!

IF that's what I"m thinking of (A small black box, about an .75" square and about .25" thick), then its a capacitor to smooth out the (tach?) system I think. Just ground that out, by finding a convient screw, and running it through that screwhole.

Yeah, That's it. The wire that connects to it is coming from the harness with the starter wires.

Well, I am not 100% but I believe it would plug into that part of the harness and then bolt up on one of the tranny bolts.
I havent messed with that wire in awhile so not totally sure. Just had this spare one sitting in the garage with the rest of the parts. Mike |
Ground it to the top of the engine near the clutch slave. I believe it smooths out the signal from the oil pressure sending unit.

Thanks guys.
