which one is housing 1 for the plug wires?
 

The RX has been sitting around for quite some time as I just got a job, a house, a chevelle..etc..etc. Put it all back together after doing braided fuel lines and no start. I did hit the alternator power wire to the motor and it tripped my circuit breaker for my relocated batt. But everything clicks on and seems to be working.

I've got ~38psi fuel as it's cranking and the pump runs.

I'll double check, but I'm pretty sure the tach is bouncing too.

Could I have L1 and L2 mixed up? Which one is housing one? closer to the front or closest to the firewall?

isn't it the trailing plugs that matter, not the leadings?
sure u got L's and T's plugged into the right top/bottom wise?
Do a compression test first, just in case... and does it smell like gas at all?

leading one is closest to the front of the car....

L=leading=lower
T=trailing=top
1= first/front
2=rear second
easy way to remember

I do have spark, at least on L1 as my dad cranked it over and it sparked and zapped me through the boot in time with the rotor :D

The pulled plug was a little carbon fouled but dry.

I also removed the whole rats nest, OMP..etc..etc..etc. All that's left is the boost sensor, AFM, BOV, FPR and the boost gauge.

The gas in the car is over a year old and has been sitting abour 3/4 tank...maybe water in the tank? Or for some reason the injectors aren't firing.

Makes me really hesitate to install the microtech until it's back to running condition with the stock computer. Guess I shouldn't have taken so long to finish the fuel line project :D

is the ecu throwing a code or anythang?

Well I assume I'm not getting gas into the motor.

Again, it cranks fine, and sparks really good :D

I see fuel pressure at the regulator. What would cause injectors not to fire?

If it's not that, then I'll have to assume I have bad gas, though I would think it would at least sputter. It's been sitting over a year with that gas in it.

Let me copy this to a new thread that better discribes the new problem...fun stuff.

like i said dude... see if hte ECU is throwing a code. that could cause it
do you have fuel pressure in the fuel rail? and are you sure that your fuel hoses aren't backwards
