Couple of issues

1989 vert (autotragic)

Just started driving her more as a daily this month and started to notice some issues

1) I hear a noise coming from the rear of the car sort of like the brake caliper is sticking and dragging across the rotors but its not as i inspected them and all seems good, im going to lube/clean them up this weekend anyways. I was thinking maybe rear end but i have no idea what a bad rear end sounds like (lol)

2) Weird issue with the steering, turning right its easy as a cloud, turning left its heavier but not unbearable just noticeable. Maybe im just being picky but i dont think it did this before. Also another thing i noticed is it has a vibration in the steering wheel if im off center by a little on the highway (to the left or right) i thought it might be a balance issue but it goes away when i keep the wheel straight.

3) Weird clunk when i come to a stop from the front end but only when i gently come to a stop, does not happen if i slam on the brakes or forcibly push the pedal.

Thanks guys appreciate the help.

Check to make sure all of your suspension/steering components in the front are bolted down/torqued. Unless something is binding when you turn left (like tire rubbing/or a bad rack), something may just be loose causing it to give more resistance. That can cause issues 2 and 3, suspension will settle when coming to a stop as things shift back to front. Might also try a hard back and forth sawing motion with the steering wheel in a parking lot and see if you can hear clicking/clunking as the weight shifts left to right.

If all you hear is a noise then it's more than likely two pieces of metal scraping against one another, like a dust shield or a rock. If it's actually dragging the car to a halt then check things like brake pads for unusual wear, sticky caliper pistons, also might be worth it to drain a little diff fluid and see if has any metals shavings in it, just be sure to fill it back up if you do.

You most likely need to replace your Stock Rear Camber Links (https://www.mazdatrix.com/h6_86-92.htm). These links go bad all the time.

Your car is almost 30 years old. With age, rubber dry rots, grease dries out, and moisture eventually begins rust moving parts such as movable joints. My recommendation is that you replace your front lower control arm bushings, ball joints, inner tie rods and outer tie rod ends.
