OMP/MOP modification

Lot of threads about disabling the MOP. I would think that it would be better to have it "pull" from another resevoir. It gets the oil from the pan. That oil could be contaminated from anything. Would you think it would be better if the MOP injected some nice two stroke oil from a bottle mounted on the fire wall?? I mean a system liek this would be much cleaner.

AGAIN, I am a noob set me straight if I am way off. Flame away, I don't mind truth.

Name calling really makes me mad, thats another story.

It exists. Apparently works reasonably well, though I tend to believe that premix getting whipped in through the fuel injectors probably does a better job of lubricating the apex seals (given that's how it's designed to be used).

Hey that's a good link!! I like that. I am not sure what they mean by "you supply the small oil tank. For close to $100 you'd think they give you a little plastic bottle.

Well... I'm pretty sure they mean "We don't include an oil tank, find your own."

The reason for this, as far as I can tell, is that most people doing this will want their own tank fit somewhere. They may also have an existing tank that can be used (sub-zero fluid tank comes to mind).
