My car doesn not run correctly. I want to take out everything in the engine bay. Clean everything up. Replace worn parts. The motor itself was just rebuilt. SO I wont be cleaning the internals. But IM sure things arent right. Because the idle is wrong. The timing causes after burn. There are all these electrical and wires clips lying around and not connected. I want to eliminate all CLUTTER. I have the basic things on my car. NO A?C or PS, no AIR pump. I want it to be as simple and straight through as possible. Currently i have a dual alternator pulley, fan pulley and main drive pulley. i also would like to get a stand alone engine management. Are these hard to set on an N/A. And how hard to set is it for turbo??

here is my MAIN Question????

WOULD I BE BETTER OFF TO JUST GET A TII SWAP??

Or clean up the N/a motor that has alot of mods.

If i had a picture of my turboed n/a with everything removed since its florida, you could see that it takes me at least 5 minutes to do anything to my car and seeing that 3 vacuum lines on the entire engine is kind of cool. No help.lol

If you had the time and money go for it.

There are ways of fixing the idle, but it can take a little while to figure out. Don't get a whole new motor just because you are tire of it running bad.
Now if you want to get a turbo and you have the time and money, I'd say go for it. I guess if you screw anything up too badly, you're close to Rotary Performance.

haha true that.

Do you think if i took it over there they could fix the timing and idle issues??

Fix the car the right way and then get you a TII. Its always nice to have two sevens so you can work on one and drive the other...
