Ok guys I want to finish up the TB mod on my spare TB some questions.

ok i removed the plates and the polt thing that holds them and all the stuff that was attatched to them. Should I use JB weld to fill the holes? if not then what? I also want to port/polish it what kind of tools or techniques should I use and follow?

Be warned against using JB Weld. There have been stories (ie Rico05) that the weld didn't hold and sucked into the engine.

If you are going to use it, put some masking tape across the inside wall of the TB and remove that when you are done.

Personally, if I were going to plug it, I would tap and plug it, but in my case I just left the shaft in so I wouldn't have to bother (it causes very minimal resistance). I will someday go back and Tap/Plug it.

Really? I thought thats what he said. Maybe he just thought that or something.

RETed had a great write up on how to tap/plug it on his site, but thats down now.

Just get a regular tap and find a matching plug. Aeroquip is a company that makes the plugs. They are just little threaded pieces of metal. You can probly find them at an autoparts store. Tap the whole, insert the plug and use a little thread locker to make sure it stays in place.

bring the TB to a local welder who has a TIG setup and experience welding aluminum.

$25 later you're ready to take a dremel to it for porting and no JB weld to get sucked into your engine.
