ok getting some mixed communication

so is this how it works high imp injectors no resistors, low imp inectors needs resistors so damn comfused lol thanks guys.

satch 03-04-13 09:31 AM

Correct.

KompressorLOgic 03-04-13 09:36 AM

that is correct

rotaryguy481 03-04-13 09:43 AM

ok awsome thanks guy doing a s4 na base to 88 t2 swap and my car didnt have resistors so wanted to make sure before i fried my ecu lol

j9fd3s 03-04-13 10:29 AM

the ECU needs to see 15 Ohms of resistance.

so you can either run high impedance, 15 ohm injectors,

or

low impedance, 2-3 ohm injectors and 10-15 ohm resistor.

too little impedance will draw too much current and fry the injector driver in the ecu.

RotaryRocket88 03-04-13 01:40 PM

6 ohm resistors + low impedance injectors (2-3 ohm) is enough (8-9 ohm total). The stock resistor pack uses 6 ohm.

rotaryguy481 03-04-13 01:58 PM

do you happen to know where i can find a thread to wire some in i cant find a damn thing lol

satch 03-04-13 02:33 PM

You can wire them into the harness coming out of the ECU. Pins 3C (Light Green/Black wire), 3F ( Light Green/Red wire), 3E (Light Green wire) and 3H (Light Green/White wire).

rotaryguy481 03-04-13 02:36 PM

awsome thanks abunch for all the help i just wanna make sure i have all my ducks in a row before i jump into this never done this nervouse as shit lol

RotaryRocket88 03-04-13 05:27 PM

And be sure to solder/shrinkwrap the connections. Unless you like intermittent fuel injectors :).
