oil pressure gauge, aftermarket

Anyone know if theres a better place to put the oil pressure sender than t-ing the stock sender? I took a look at it today and it looks almost impossable to get to. also what size threads are they, sae or metric? I'm debating getting the oil pressure gauge or just makeing a shift light out of one of the spots in my gauge pod. Do the msd rpm activated switches work on rotories? thanks

No teeing is required. Just remove the stock pressure sender and screw in the new one. I don't know the thread from memory sorry, but you may need an adaptor depending on what gauge you buy.

Yes.

Threads on the engine from the stock oil pressure sensor is 1/8"BSP-28.
Most aftermarket oil pressure sensors are 1/8"NPT-27.

Racing Beat and fc3s.ORG sell adapter plates for just this purpose.
