oil lines to an fittings ???

driving back from LA my oil pressure drop to about 50psi. during this time i figured that there was a leak. looking under the car there was oil all over my oil cooler lines.

i want to swap them to an fittings with ss hose.

after researching i found that -10 will work.

Question: what has anyone else ran for these fittings, ie, should i use two 90's with two 45's - 10 with pipe to an adapters.

I did this conversion along with relocating my oil cooler.

I used -10AN SS line, 3 90°s and 1 45° bend(for the front cover), with all the banjo to -AN fitting converters and crush washers from Mazdatrix. Its been a while but I think thats the general idea of what I got- so far havnt had any leaks and maintain perfect oil pressure.

Is this a V8 conversion or still a rotary powered application???

this application is the 13b.

thats right they are banjo fittings. sure enough ill get the fittings tomorrow and do some clean up. ill post a picture of what a bad oil line and 400 miles can do to a car. :rlaugh:

thanks for the info

Why not use the banjo fittings you got at hand? Using AN fittings will most likely result in a OC relocation.

You don't need AN fittings for upgraded lines. Take your oil lines to a hydraulic shop and have it made with high pressure hose. It will outlast your car and you use the stock fittings. And it's waay cheaper.
