Oil leak help

Hello, I have an 88 Turbo II and when I took the upper intake manifold off yesterday, I noticed that the underside of the throttle body and upper intake manifold were coated with oil. I looked around the best I could and could not find a leak or traces of a leak (the car is being stored right now and has both the oil and coolent drained because of a turbo swap) The only thing that carries oil around this area is the oil injectors correct? I guess it does not make sense to me as these are under the fuel rails, and if they were leaking it seems they would be leaking in the top of the block. Another thing I noticed is that the three vaccum lines on the front of the upper intake manifold seem to have oil leaking out of them. The bottom one is even swelled out because it is so oil soaked. This makes no sense because these lines are just air lines correct? I guess I am just running out of places to look and was wondering if anyone else has ran into this type of problem. Thanks!

if old turbo was bad, it could have been leaking oil into intercooler -> intake manifold and then u would have oil leaks from UIM/TB etc..

when i took the uim off my TII a couple weeks back, i saw the same thing, the underside of the uim was covered in oil residue. Everyhting looked good, no leaking from anywhere. I know my oil seals are bad though, cause the inside of the intercooler has a little oil collecting in it, and the exhasut smokes after hard runs.

Well that makes alot of sense because my old stock turbo was bad, and it was burning alot of oil. The only lines that are wet with oil are the ones on the front of the upper intake manifold, and the ones on the back of the engine one of which is connected to the twin scroll. There is no oil on the top of the engine nor is it leaking down the side of the block so I think that you may be right hiGGi. Thanks to both of you!
