Oil or Gas... WHICH ONE IS IT????

Alright there is some definite confliction between us rotary groupers. Some of us seem to think that gas is the life blood of a rotary and others think oil. Okkkk, I want a damn strait answer and I want it now. I realize that oil needs to be good, exspecially for a sports car which a FC3S oubviously is. Just tell me strait up, should I be addin additives to the gas, or be careful, or should I be careless of the oil. Tell me damnit!!!:D

In reality the life blood of the motor would be neither. It's Oxygen....well air really, without that, your motor will never run. As for your real Question. I have never prioritized the two. I would treat both with utter respect, because if you go half ass on either one the results could be bad. Poor gas either low octane, or poor quality, and at boost you could experience detonation. The oil is a slower death, but a death nonetheless. I would go with the best you can afford. If you're asking about addtives such as MMO then you could go with both. I did and the car feels a lot smoother. Always try to use a gas station with a high turn over rate, that is one that gets used real often. It will lessen the chance of getting high amounts of water in your petrol. I've also heard that getting gas real early in the morning will yield better gas, but i have never been able to really prove that.

Aren't we supposed to use a low octane, 87?

non turbos use 87, turbos use the best you can find.
